Versions are severely outdated

There are several dependency errors while trying to install packages with npm. Using a package manager like yarn resolves the issue.

I'm also trying to implement a throttling and fix the versioning issues and I'd love to be a contributor :)

Update: I've managed to fix all peer dependency issues without raising any vulnerabilities, npm should work fine now.
